Consulting and custom development
We map, bring clarity, and build what your company actually needs. This is where most projects start, because every operation is different.
How we work →AI collapsed the cost of building custom software and unlocked capabilities that simply did not exist before. The companies that understand this first will operate on a different cost structure than their competitors.
| Dimension | Two years ago | Today |
|---|---|---|
| Cost of a custom system | A capital project, out of reach for a mid-sized company | A fraction of that, and staged |
| Time to something usable | Six months or more before seeing anything | Weeks, with the first stage already working on its own |
| Who could afford it | Companies with an in-house tech team or a large budget | Any company with a clear process worth solving |
| What could be automated | Fixed rules. Anything off-pattern went to a person | Judgement: read a text, decide with nuance, escalate when needed |
None of these four rows is an opinion. They are the reason this site exists.
There is no magic and no product that solves everything. There is a process, and we run the same one with every client.
Your business, your goals, your processes and the tools you already use. We talk to the people doing the work, not only to management.
1–2 weeks
Where the technology lands hard and the return is clear. Prioritised by impact against effort — and we say out loud what should be left out.
1 week
The solution, scoped tight and staged, where stage one is useful on its own even if stage two never happens.
1–2 weeks
Real implementation, in production, with your data. Not a demo or a pilot that has to be rebuilt later.
Depends on scope
Training, adjustments and measurement until it is genuinely used. A system nobody uses does not count as delivered.

How we work →Sales and support over WhatsApp
A conversational CRM with AI agents that reply, qualify and book. It has its own site and its own team.

Reads turnover, stockouts and supplier lead time, then proposes what to buy, how much and when — with the reasoning written down.
See SKUM →Most projects start custom, because every company is different. SalesSteps and SKUM are two solutions we already built, tested and packaged because the same problem kept coming up.
The tools are available to anyone and keep getting cheaper. That moved the bottleneck: it is no longer technical, it is judgement.
90% of a project’s value is decided before a line of code is written — in understanding how the company runs, where money or time leaks, and what is worth automating and what is not.
That is where we put the effort. Serious discovery, interviews with the people doing the work, a process map, and honest prioritisation.
Sometimes the conclusion is: do not automate this, fix the process first.
We are developers who understand business, not consultants who subcontract the build. The same team designs and builds.
Tick the ones that sound familiar. Below, where we would start.
There is a lot of noise around AI. Much of what is being sold today has no return and never will.
In a 45-minute call we tell you what can be done in your company today, what cannot, and where we would start. If we think you should not do anything yet, we say so.
You leave with a written action plan, whether we work together or not.
We are two partners who come from building software for companies in the region. Beto leads development and architecture; Samu, product and client relationships. We both work on every project.
We started Asom because we got tired of seeing AI projects sold by people who did not understand the client’s business, ending in a pretty demo nobody used. The "no hype" part is not a marketing posture — it is the reaction to that.

We work remotely with companies across LatAm, and in person in Montevideo.
